All the results from this years world poker series

Yet another memorable year in the world of online poker draws to a close, and the World Poker Series resumed its job of setting records and stealing the spotlight, with its many players putting together a significant year.

When the World Poker Series Colossus event was first announced back in 2014, tons of poker players from across the globe have wondered if the World Poker Series is even capable of holding such a huge event. Around 10,000 entries are required in order to meet a prize pool of $5M, in just four flights over the course of two days.

After so much success, the World Poker Series managed to announce Colossus II, which is set to be held in 2016 with a prize pool of $7M, as well as a guaranteed $1M reward to its lucky winner.

Two of the highly-regarded professional poker players were inducted into the World Poker Series Hall of Fame class of 2015, in a ceremony held at the Binion’s Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. Las Vegas happens to be the host of the first 34 World Poker Series. Last November 6, two-time World Poker Series winner and cash game specialist Jennifer Harman was finally included in the Hall of Fame, together with John Juanda, a five-time World Poker Series winner.

It’s clearly safe to say that the young Joe McKeehen’s win is completely an understatement. He joined the last table with around double the amount of  the Poker Series chips, as compared to that of his closest competitor, and made it to the six-handed play with 2.81 times the second place. McKeehen later joined the three-handed game finale with 3.21 times more than second place in his roster.

And not only that, when anyone even attempted to play back at McKeehen, he had managed to practice his skills or even made some wise choices that let him keep up his dominance in this year’s World Poker Series game.
